Abstract

Temporary work programs have long been an essential part of socialpolicies in developed countries aiming to get reliable source of labour, promote domestic economy and discourage illegal migration; however,in practice these programs seem to be designed just to ensure cheaplabour as the lack of monitoring due to the blurry guidelines establishedfosters abuse by employers, encouraging violations of human and labourrights of temporary workers that result in large-scale social injustices.
