El combate a la corrupción. Una exploración en los municipios de sistemas normativos indígenas de Oaxaca
Keywords:

Corruption is a public problem present on the agendas of the three levels of government. As a negative situation that affects an entire society, it requires public policies to mitigate or eliminate this issue. To achieve this, there is a legal and institutional framework that municipalities must follow to implement public policies against corruption. However, this becomes complex in the municipalities of Indigenous Normative Systems in Oaxaca, which are governed by their own customs and traditions but are still obligated to combat corruption. Therefore, this work starts with the question: How can corruption be fought within the context of customs and traditions? Using a qualitative methodology, it is described that institutional design was not considered for municipalities with customs and traditions, but they have strengths to combat corruption, although their capacities and coordination between legal frameworks need to be strengthened.Downloads
