EDITOR´S INTRODUCTION

Resumen

The content of the third issue of the Journal of Public Governance andPolicy starts with two relevant articles, the irst one offering a panoramicview on a century of social reforms in Mexico and the second oneassessing the impact of Supreme Audit entities on corruption in severalcountries. It is followed by two Case Studies that address urban mobilityand water management, which are critical problems in metropolitanareas. The authors analyze these two problems and outline answersstudying the Guadalajara (Mexico) conurbation. A third Case Studyfocuses on local public policy E-government, describing processes andresults in Sinaloa State (Mexico). The third issue also includes an essayon the 2014 political-electoral reforms in Mexico, and a book on urbangovernance in Latin American cities, edited by Rodrigo Carmona, isreviewed.
