governanceAbstract
The content of the second issue of the Journal of Public Governance and Policy starts with two relevant articles, the first one offering a panoramic view on a century of social reforms in Mexico and the second one assessing the impact of Supreme Audit entities on corruption in several countries. It is followed by two Case Studies that address urban mobility and water management, which are critical problems in metropolitan areas. The authors analyze these two problems and outline answers studying the Guadalajara (Mexico) conurbation. A third Case Study focuses on local public policy EGovernment, describing processes and results in Sinaloa State (Mexico). This issue also includes an essay on the 2014 politicalelectoral reforms in Mexico, and a book on urban governance in Latin American cities, edited by Rodrigo Carmona, is reviewed. The Journal is growing and becoming known in the public policy and governance academic community, evidenced by the several research texts sent and welcomed. The reception of articles, essays, case studies and book reviews for the next Journal issue is open.Downloads
